Contemporaneous?

In section 695.4, the terms "inadvertant contemporaneous operation" were added. The intent is the fire pump disconnect is lockable in the closed position. Would a proposal to change Contemporaneous to something simpler be welcomed by the CMP?

In my opinion, a proposal to simplify language would always be acceptable. The substantiation would be just to make the Code easier to understand.

besides, does the word actually mean what I think they are trying to say?

simultaneous would probably be a better choice.
