Is there a code violation to control wiring of 24v or so in the same conduit with normal power such as 120/208 or 277/480? Ive heard alot of different opinions on this but no definative answer.
You need to know what type of circuit the 24 volts is. If it is an Article 725 Class 2 or 3 circuit in general it can't be mixed no matter what the voltage rating of the conductors is. See 725.136. Even if it is a 725 Class 1 circuit it can't be mixed unless the control circuit is functionally associated with the power circuit that is in the same raceway. See 725.48(B)
When you look at 300.3(C) one you have to remember to read the FPN.
