Need Help
I have a generator supplying 480V Panel on a Catapillar tractor. I am having to install a Frequency monitor to regulate a contactor that feeds 480v panel. The frequency monitor is rated for 240V. I was thinking about installing a 480V/240v Transformer 50va. I can not seem to be able to find a control transformer for this application. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Also , on the primary side of generator there is 240 v Voltage regulator that is fed on the primary side of Generator teriminals . Would it be feasilble to come off of this, an fuse it to feed the Frquency monitor. the Generator is wired to feed a 480V panel.

Most of the control power transformers that I have seen are dual voltage on both the primary and secondary. 480/240 on the primary and 240/120 on the secondary. These are commonly found in motor starters and should be available at an electrical supply house.
