To adjust spring nuts in Unistrut use a piece of Duct strap (in the top part of the strut I believe) to push the spring nut.

After you posted that URL, I ordered a set. They arrived Friday, and I don't have any pipe work on the near horizon. Dangit, now I may have to go put a new run in the basement just so I can play with my new toys...

I haven't used a spring nut since I met my first twirlnut. Spring nuts stink, especially in slotted strut. Twirlnuts rule!

ceknight, I know what you mean. I had to construct a whole new pipe run in the garage the day my Greenlee Mightymouse came!
