I saw I bunch of these in Chicago. New to me, but looks like a real time saver. Anyone install one of these?

looks like weathered triplex. Probably the old drop connected to the new service as a temp.

its chicago. the pipe inside probably looks amazing, took 6 weeks to install, and cost $25,000.

I agree it does not look like line voltage conductors.

Would be neat if that weather head is rated for use in a electrical service. For a paralled run would look slick compared to multiple weather heads.

Even if this is a power service, the NEC does not require an outside disconnect.

No sir, this is a service. As I said, I saw a bunch of these all over the north side. Larry spotted the 'service drop' dropping down the pole then going back up to the connection point. FWIW, POCO has a pile of work in progress there.

That is not an NEC requirement.
Miami-Dade County did not require an outside disconnect and the next county up, Broward County did. We used to call it a Broward box when we saw one.

Looks like Aluminum to me.

I would say RMC or IMC.

You're absolutely right, there is no NEC requirement for that. It is a nice looking service, though. Maybe a little overkill, but a good install nonetheless.
