Bath remodel taking place later this year. At this point there is talk of installing LED sheets behind a translucent stone wall. This wall will be 2' behind the tub at its closes point. Sheets are connected with a flexible chord that snaps onto the sheet. This connecton point will likely be under the bathroom floor. Since this is technically behind the wall, does 410.10(D) apply? Sheets will carry a damp rated listing

Don't have my code book handy, but I bet you're good to proceed since it's all 24V at that point. More curious as to if you're going to have a way to access the sheets for maintenance?

Helped specify LED sheets for a backlit onyx countertop. The casework was being custom built, so I recommended they update the design to include a drawer to put the sheets on, so it could slide out for easy access. Customer opted not to redesign the casework. When they start having diode failures, they'll have to remove the whole slab to access the LED sheets.

I like the idea of a pull down drawer, that could be incorporated into the design. Have it pull down into the basement for future maintenance
