I favor something like:
"All material supplied by Joe's Electric to Jackalope Builders Corp. becomes the propery and responsibility of Jackalope Builders Corp. when either installed by Joe's or delivered to the jobsite for storage by Jackalope. Joe's Electric Company retains a security interest in all such materials until Joe's Electric has been paid in full.".

Of course, IANAL (I am not a lawyer) .

The last big project I was on they had no night watchman, But if they did he would be the one under the most suspicion.

Agreed. The large tracts tried security a couple of years ago when residential was booming, but two of the tracts got hit hard for appliances and uninstalled windows. Come to find out, the "security" people were casing the tracts and turning their heads when the thefts occurred. They caught both when the supers installed (unanounced to anyone) web cams!

Hey, after you install it, it's not even yours anymore. Why insure what's not even yours? I found out during the K-Mart bankruptcy that what's just delivered to the jobsite isn't mine anymore either. That still grinds on me.

After install it is part of building.Whats in my job box is mine.Now we cross the line,was it sold to you or the store.No meannest meant here but why would anyone touch k mart after all there problems ?
