I use the Klein Tools BAT20LW 20v Lithium tools. The upgraded, heavy duty battery is worth it. Worked great. Sounds like you need a new bit.

I have the Milwaukee single battery high/ low speed, 18v cordless, chuckless. I've had it six years or more, it replaces my old corded version of it.
I believe the newer models are lighter and shorter now.
I love it!
