Yeh somethings up. Are these Harbor Freight drill bits or something?

The hardest thing I (well, my helper) ever drilled was an 18” thick parking deck with rebar every 3” and we got almost two dozen holes without changing bits. It took a solid two days to drill it and idk how many hundred gallons of water.

Only if your cost of purchase, transport, break down, are zero it is.
Reminds me of my resi. days working for a large Co. where a pencil pusher changed all the connectors to the plastic blue ones with the jam gizmo held by a plastic moulded whip. You spent more time looking for the missing jam piece, plus you had to use two hands to use them; we were using the snap in and turn bolt type before. The bottom line changed to lower material cost, not counting the lost parts, and higher labor so it was the men's fault;" but look I saved $0.05ea. boss!".

At mstrluckys labor rate changing out cheap bits after a few holes would be less cost effective than buying a quality bit.

Not trying to speak down at anyone but do a little research on your own before coming on here and asking a question. Know a little about what you are asking. Is there no one in the office you can ask Mr. Lucky. You come on here and ask some of the dumbest questions.

There are really no dumb questions and no one should be discouraged from asking any questions on this forum.

I’d never used one of those until two weeks ago when I stopped at Lowe’s to pickup a small amount of material to add a recep for a foundation vent fan; it was the only NM connector they had. That has to be the worst product I’ve ever used.

We have great coring subs......I know the exact cost, zero liability.
Why pay electrician wages for 2 or 3 men to core 4" holes?

Guess what happens on the 3rd floor when you wet core 4" holes on the 4th floor, if you don't know what you're doing?

Do what you do the best and sub the rest.

Charlie K. ....:rant:..lol. I edited my reply to you as I'm sure it would have gotten me banned.

I must admit I think they way I ask/phrase questions comes across dumb..lol. as I'm usually pressed for time and write quick and simple But I do think the content is good and generates good dialogue.
