Greetings all,
I am dealing with a 2-3 year old CR460 (made by GE) full contactor block that occasionally does not engage its bottom power pole all the way.
If I remove the offending power pole (a CR460XP32) and I manually engage it contacts fine. No signs of overheating or any other issues.
The only other thing I can think of is the base has a two wire control and a 'mechanically held kit'. Its controlled by a 120V timer, and when that timer kicks on all the CR460's make quite a thud (there are two bases with 12 poles each).
Seems like occasionally something in the base is not engaging it enough. However if I sit there and cycle it the problem is pretty random and intermittent.
I am thinking it might have something to to with the mechanical latch being thrown too hard or the base itself.
Does anyone have any tips or experience with adjusting these?
Thanks in advance.
