Yep, especially when they reach about 130 is perfect in my book.

Steamed in their own shell on the BBQ. You just need to hold 'em down for a moment with the tongs 'till they stop trying to get away - then continue to cook with close - hot coals until bright red, and quick flip to bring the other side to temp.

Just read an article on the plane that King crabs have actually really dropped in price due right now to their abundance this year thanks to limiting the catches over the past 2 years.

But still, that is not a Maryland Blue in any shape or form. Boy have they gotten pricey over the years.
Yes the king crabs are priced pretty reasonably, my kidd love them, but I don't care for them that much. They are alright in small amounts. But I can never eat enough of the Maryland crabs, somehow they are not very filling and the taste is incredible spacially when seasoned with the Old Bay seasoning. Of course anything will tase good with Old Bay, I have seen people put them on french fries around here! e/m

Have not had a decent crabcake since I moved to Florida from Maryland in 1966. The restaurants here proclaim "Maryland Crabcakes!" They wouldn't recognize a real blue crab here if he bit 'em on the butt.

Boil 'em in Baltimore Barbs Seasoning, then use the backfin and lumpmeat for your cakes!

Here they use 'crabdust', and lots of breading ! Ho Ho . . .

Merry Christmas Everyone and Best Wishes

Are those the same ones I saw in Miami selling "Philly Cheesesteaks?" I saw one guy order one (I already knew better), and a 1/2" thick sirloin steak with onions and peppers was laid out, open-face, on white bread in front of the guy. The scary part is that he was from an area nowhere near the Deleware Valley, so I think he really didn't know the difference.

At least I didn't see anyone trying to sell scrapple.
