Hi all,

Can you guys please help me with the screw that goes in between this breaker ? i am trying to figure out if this screw is a 6-32 or a thinner machine screw. I have a customer who does NOT want to replace the panel only the breaker but the replacement breaker ordered did not come with the screw and his panel's main breaker is only hanging on by the breaker and how the legs are positioned.

I don't know but a 6-32 seems small to hold a breaker in that is the size of a receptacle mounting screw.

Since the metal is fairly thin, I would bet 32 threads /inch so it could be an 8-32 or a 10-32

What happened to the screw from the old breaker?

Do you know if there is a tapped hole there?

Your most likely to have to pull the meter unless you do it live. I would pull the meter

The original breaker is malfunctioning to a point where it has to be replaced.

the screw from the old breaker broke and is now in between the threads with 1cm poking out (enough length for some needle nose pliers).

I might end up having to tap it.

And i am doing it live unfortunately
