I'm wiring a custom home where they have a master bathroom with a separate area for applying makeup, as well as a wall-mounted TV set to watch while taking a bath. Can the receptacle outlets in these areas be powered by the same circuit as the two outlets at the sink vanity area? I would have 5 outlets on the circuit with the GFI receptacle being installed at the first box on the circuit. I'm wiring the adjacent bathroom outlet to its own circuit, not shared with the master bath.

If the area is considered one bathroom then yes they can be all together. If you leave the bath area to a separate room that has a makeup table then you may have an issue. Some inspectors may let it go if the area is within the bathroom itself.

I was thinking the same thing, because the area is only accessible through the master bedroom. I'll try it, and the worst that happens is they'll call for another circuit to be run. No problem doing that.

Most of the time it is where the door is... if the door separates the makeup area from the bathroom they are separate.. if the door is such that the makeup table is part of the bathroom they are one area...
at least that is what I have had from inspectors... but I cannot say more than that as every installation is different.
