Why? If you suspect there may be a bad neutral (on the service side of things) why not verify it first? Put some load on it and make it show itself, preferably some resistance heat type of loads and not electronics that may not like what happens if there is a problem, then call them if there is a problem.

Good suggestion. Reason I went there ,we recently Have had Many afternoons of Hi winds. Poco is way behind on trimming trees. This is the hood I live in. Not too far away They did have a neutral problem.

Sierrasparky , sorry about the broken words . In the 50s teachers didn't catch Dyslexia. I struggled and was kept back. But I could fix stuff on our Lil farm.
Hated school. Dropped out Joined the Marine Corps. Helo crew chief, Made sgt. fast. found out I was dyslectic about 10 Years ago. Thanks for listening to My ramble. Tool. Ps Have a cabin in Bear valley 7000 ft. Elev. Sounds Like Your up there.
 
Yea I have diyslexia also. I am also a lefty the schools tried and tried to get me righty. If you see my posts often have weird spelling. When I type it looks perfectly fine. I transpose numbers too. It has been a pain in the butt all my life.

How come you never got the speacialty licenses? It sounds like you have been around the trades long enough. Way back it was really easy to add a trade.

Good question . Just Humming along fine without. A lot of S.F. Inspectors are former union Elect. and Plumbers . I make sure It's all very neat and up to code.
Never failed an inspection. Example of 3 trade rule. I want to run underground Gas line to fire pit. Add outside elec outlet and $100.00 of wood rot.
Legal. Burns a lot of Ar$es on the Forums ! So be it.

Mostly those that have never done anything or those that have never had an inspection or the one's that work in an area where their brother-in-law is the inspector.

I have failed inspections even when there wasn't anything wrong, inspector inspecting work that wasn't even part of the job and not on the permit. You get it cleared up but you still failed and it still takes extra time.

In SF We have the unified plumbing code and the S.F. amendments. Then there was an inspector that would invent his own. I remember going into the head inspectors office Years ago and He would just sign off the final for Me.
