In CA, I am not required to be licenced or certified for ANYTHING to do the electrical under a GC's licence and bonds. Rediculous, yes. I am certified as a Residential Electrician, but is only a requirement if was an employee (not payrolee
) of an EC. So I'm good.
I convinced my Boss it would behoove him to let me trim out the panels and help the guy order all the proper materials which I did today. The guy was actually pretty cool and had a set of bags with worn klein tools in it. Turns out he used to own a Low-voltage company and had played around with some AC before. My qualms are squelched...
