Classic pinch point

Classic pinch point

It happens all the time, classic pinch point. The question is; what's important to you?

Do you need this one job, or can you get another and support yourself/family if you get fired or demoted for not getting this friend to perform? Is it fair to your boss to cover for a friend?

Or maybe this friend has shown that he has issues and doesn't mind making them your issues too. Maybe he's a close friend, maybe not. I have no idea but I think you do.

I've always had faith in doing the right thing and it's never let me down in the long run. Some runs have been longer than others

This is a guy with 3 kids one of which is only 2 weeks old. I know it's hard to separate these things, and being friends is usually a bad business deal. Being in charge here was a big thing for me and I know I'm gonna have to make a tough choice, but what else can I try? Any advice on this is trully appreciated.
I have a 3 YO - haven't slept right in 3 years.... (Up with back pain too.... but it don't help...)

Now - He gets in one a company - using his license as RME? He gets you a job - now you're his boss.... No wonder he's ticked. ;)
