Hi all. Long time lurker first time poster. I have a doozy that I wanted to share with you all. Has anyone seen something like this or similar? Would like to hear about it and see pics if they're available too.
Doing some field investigation for a client and found this situation. Gear is late 60's vintage and I believe this to have been as shipped. Oddly, it has had some modifications a number of years ago and was left this way at that time. I figure electrical tape isn't what it used to be but it's good that it's not the other way around.
120/208 1,600A less than a foot below can.
I'm thinking more than touchup paint would have been required if the tape ever gave up.
