Hey we just went thru a walkthru on our new PhotoVoltaic installtion and I found the combiner box seemed like the wires were way too crowded.
Now these are carrying DC maybe there is a different rule.
The drawings show [6] 2-1/2" GRC and the as built is done with four.
I calculate those conduits can hold 20 wires and there are many more than that. I stopped counting around 30... I bet there are more.
Derating them by 40% shouldn't be the issue because they are not each carrying that much power. Actually I don't know the amp draw on each.
Anyway, so is there any other rule if these are coming in DC from solar?
