With flat rate pricing I was able to set up a reserve fund for slow times. Until this week Ive only had about 20 jobs and none of them over $2000. In previous years I would have been depressed, nonproductive and gone without a paycheck. This year I relaxed, was more productive catching up on office paperwork and systems and wrote my normal paycheck. In those 2 months I never considered changing my prices to get a job. If I work, it's profitable. If I don't work installing I work on the business.
