I am adding a dedicated 20 amp 120/240 V single phase branch circuit to a UPS in an ITE room. Can I design a relay circuit to disconnect this branch circuit to comply with 645.10? I want to add a second power off button in this room that will energize a 24 volt relay to open the ungrounded line supplying the UPS. The relay control circuit is located outside of the ITE room. Thank you.

How does everything else in the room get disconnected. Is there a fire suppression system?
Why on earth would you want to do that? IT is not a requirement unless you are taking the lienancies of 654.
