I was reading past posts about dedicated space above and below a panel. Some believed this rule didn't necessarily apply to flush mount panels, their reasoning being someone is more likely to be bringing new conduits into a surface mount install.
I would say I disagree and think it does(and should) apply also to flush mount installs. What do you all think? I have a current situation where I am telling the contractor they need to move some ducting out of that space but I want to make sure I am bing reasonable.
