Hi just looking for insight here. Work seem pretty straight forward. This is how I see it regarding the two units I posted below.
1. Disconnect power inside MCC and do the starter removal and wiring modification in MCC. MCC has fuses and not breaker.
2. Disconnect conduit and wire at the motor factory mounted disconnect switch and secure in place so its ready for new motor.
3. New VFD and motor/unit get delivered I reconnect the existing feed to the VFD and then run new from the VFD to disconnect switch.
4. Power up MCC portion that feeds this unit. If there is no breaker in the MCC and its just fuses is there an "on/off" at the MCC for this circuit?
Does this about sum up work involved. Anything else I need to consider? Thank you very much,
