no, it's cause all the contractors are depressed since bob barker retired
from "the price is right", so they all try to make their bids within $1 of
each other, guessing each others bits, in homage to bob.

that sounds a lot like the people that call us now and then and want an estimation for a control panel. not much else in the way of information is available and they just cannot understand why we cannot give them a price.

Just take the non union hours and cut that time in half for the union time, You know I did plenty of 1 floor fit up's both with union, and non union, the real issue may be how dated is the building, the design build companies that take on these projects are more concerned with location, so you will have to live with the building they pick, and visit it to discover the conditions you will be working with, the last project they did, may be nothing like the one your looking at, look at the one in East Brunswick, that was the old Two Guys store, a 50 year old building, that has been thru 6 or more fit up's
