I have customer that has 120/240v 1ph. The customer dimming lights. I arrived to find 120 to neutral on both legs. When we turn lights on the lights dimm. I checl voltage and I get 150v one leg and 100v other leg. we turn lgihts off the even out 120v each leg. This happens at panel on load and line side, Need he;p

What feeds your panel?. Do you have a meter or meter main.
Like texie said you have a bad neutral issue. If it happens all the way back to the meter call the power company.
Happens all the time in my area most of the time it’s the power company issue.

POCO showed up and said eveything looks good on their side but issue is still inside house. I read good voltage on load side but once I apply load the voltage changes. I would agree its a classic open neutral case.

The POCO checks were meaningless without the imbalance occurring while they were there.

they always say that. Test the meter base above the meter. If the problem persists, call them back.
I would guess 90% of the time power company guys don’t really understand electrical theory. They aren’t electricians, more like glorified construction workers.

yes, I can say that. I’m licensed EC, GC, and also Power Company field engineer. I have climbed poles with them in storms
