I have many 4" x 4" boxes throughout the plant that are fed with 120v. On the cover of these boxes are low voltage, (24volt) transformers. I'm sure everyone is familiar with these. They feed thermostats throughout the plant. The secondary side of these transformers are exposed. Is this permisable and what code verifies this?
