A Tree Fell On A House Taking Out The Sevice Entrance Mask.after The Service Had Been Repaired And When Power Was Re-applied Alot Of The Devices In The House Didn't Work Any More Such As: Dimmers,fans Motor, Computer- Printer/scanner,surge Protector Power Strip.freezer Compressor Motor Recently. How Can This Be Explained??.

The grounded conductor, neutral, was most likely the first one to break. This causes all sorts of votage problems. Up to 240v could have been applied to items designed for 120v.

The neutral was the first to get broken, I had the same problem in a garge next to a house that the nuetral over several year had broken away and the lights and freeze got smoked. Fire bad!!!!!!
