You miss read his post, he said LINE side of of the emergency disconnect. Turning it off would still kill the building power regardless if the generator is running or not.Then shutting off the emergency disconnect would auto-start the generator.
I don't think so; the ATS would be on the hot side of the disco and the signal wires for the generator are connected in the ATS, I believeThen shutting off the emergency disconnect would auto-start the generator.
