Do you need to allow for the working space in 110.26 for a non fused safety switch?

Specifically for a disconnect for an AC drycooler?
This is a 480 volt nonfused disconnect. (not a disco)
This would be a condition 2 that would require 3'6" of clearance.

I believe that it needs the proper clearance and headroom.

I feel that it is likely to be examined while energized.

If that is so, then yes.

I mean a disconnect.

A disco to me needs a mirrored silver ball. :D
The term is so residential.

Well yes .

Would you need a clearance in front of a transformer ?

No fuses in it ?

But you check voltage to service it or you might open it up to test or check lugs or grounding connections if you had a problem so yes to me anything electrical needs space in front .

Ive got a question how about a 4 square box ?
