Per article 240.24 the disconnecting means can't be located higher than 6'7" to top of handle. I have a project where two disconnects are mounted 8+ feet off of the ground and they want them located to the 6'7" standard. I was told that somewhere in the nec book there is a statement that says a pole with hook could be used instead. Anyone seen this?
