I'm like Al, apparently. I own the company and have done just about everything electrical and low-voltage. I checked everything except engineering and government/areospace.

If drawing and submitting plans for commercial and mixed-use buildings qualifies, I could have checked engineering. I haven't done fiber, unless Toslink digital audio counts.
 
Is there a time limit on this? I haven't touched any fiber optics since about 1993. Sold my fusion splicer and otdr then. Stupid move. Internet got big. Fiber jobs took off like a rocket right after that, and I missed it completely.

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer the Poll.

LOL, didn?t think it would have had such a large response. I should have been more specific with the choices, Instructors and such included. I didn?t specify a time limit but should have. With the different aspects of the field, it would probably be a length discussion if all wanted to list the paths of their electrical careers.
I appreciate everyone?s feedback and encouraging my curiosity.

Man, I can't believe he left out swinging through trusses with romex in my teeth all day...

It's just not the same, dang it. :D

Government

I did commercial and industrial work in the printing sector. Now I do basic internal facility aduits and new facilities for safety concerns and insuring upkeep fo the older Government buildings.
