Okay, Mr. Pitnicky Jr. :angel:

I was referring only to Article 376 metal wireways... and requiring manufacturer marking is not the same as requiring equipment to be labeled as per the Article 100 definition.

All I'm really saying is the manufacturer packaging, sticker, etc. will call it wireway. Show me where any one product is marketed as wireways, i.e. plural.

Well, I wasn't trying to be pit Nicky. Quite the contrary, I figured that was probably ammunition for your side of the argument:)

But I don't think we'll find any manufacturers that specifically say "a divided wireway is still one wireway", and I don't think we'll find any that say "a divided wireway is two wireways." Maybe they are as confused by the issue as we are??

The best evidence I see is that each side of a divided wireway meets the definition of a raceway since it is an "enclosed channel", and it meets the definition of a wireway since it is a "sheet metal trough......". So the shoe fits.....
