I was going to do some fancy monitoring with a PLC today but, I had to work. I’ve had it running on HP the last couple days and it hadn’t kicked on lockout that in know of. Damn thing has been noisy, like a damper was closed but I’ve watched the set screws move so I know the damper motors work. Tonight The blower is high speed and the isolating rubber between the furnace and ductwork is bulged. The indicator says the damper is open....
duh. Damper set screw was loose. Motor was moving, damper wasn’t.
I also set the well to run at 35 PSI instead of 45 with the HP. Now we don‘t even hear the water run. Nothing but warmth.
