He asked me about flat extension cords he saw that you can put under the carpet. I told him even the one I looked at that had its own protection for the wire said not to put under the carpet.
What I first notice is the prominent display of its UL label/listing or the lack there of that is. As such there would be no way that I would use one, install or recommend one to others.

I think that product has come up here before.

I would think even if there were such a thing you would not want to stand between the two devices while in use as the energy needs to pass between them somehow.:eek:
