Hello! I've see 30 branch and 42 branch breaker panels with two feed through sub breakers rated (200A or 225A) for 400AMPS or 600AMP panels. Do they make 600AMPS panelboards with 54 branch breakers and two feed through sub breakers rated for 200A. I looked through Square D website and couldn't find one, maybe i missed it.

Thank you

Its possbile that the type of off the shelf panelboard that you need doesn’t exist. You might have to contact a switchboard company and have them manufacture the exact configuration that you need or come up with an alternative design with off the shelf products.

Shouldn't be a problem at all. I got a Siemens panel board last year with 4 QR frame (250A) and a bunch of 1" breakers (I don't remember exactly how many). I can't remember if it was a P2 or P3 in the Siemens line they go from P1 to P5.

Those kind of panels are what I think are called Merchandised panels (I think). But you would need to go to your supply house and have that built to your spec and order it. It will not be something that you can get off the shelf.

Yeah some supply houses might stock true panelboards in the common configurations like 42 space for standard breakers, but anything outside of that is likely to be built to order. The lead time on siemens isnt bad now, down to only about 19 working days. Here is a picture of another one, I think this is a P3 and you need to bump up to a 24" wide cabinets to be able to do 250 frame side by side. You can do 250A in a 20" wide cabinet in a P1 or P2, but just not side by side. There is also a 400A subfeed breaker at the bottom partially in view.

Very nice, i didn't know you can do more than 2 sub-feed breakers on those. Nice picture!!
