I have installed glassbreaks for gas boilers in residences here that the architect/engineer put on prints for me.
Just outside the room the equipment is in.
It is amazing, the different fuels, we use, the only place I have seen oil burners was in grandmas basement in indiana. All we have is nat.gas aroound here

I dont know what people are going to do next winter. An average winter is at least 500 gallons of oil for a 1500 sq ft house at 5$ a gallon thats 2500 bucks just to keep the house warm for a few months.

Here in Ft Worth they used to require a fused SSU and a thermal link firestat on a gas furnace.
I'm not sure they still do. It's been a while since my resi days.

ALLOOOTTTTT of people here are going to wood pellet stoves.
