Does any body still use over head wire to a shed?
It's a 120 volt circuit for a light. It's my understanding you would need to use a tri-plex rated for overhead. How small of that type wire is available?

Done a lot for Big Orange Christmas tree tents as temporary’s. Did a permanent one last year to a mechanic’s shop. The old drop was too low, and rotting. It was originally put in in the 60’s. They had to prop it up with a 2x4 to get the combine under it. I installed a mast, and raised it 3’ at both ends. Also changed the fuse box to a breaker box.

I never seen anything smaller than 6 AWG.

These overhead multiplexed assemblies typically do not have conductors that comply with 310.104, but many AHJ's either don't know or don't pay too close attention to that.
