W winnie Senior Member Location Springfield, MA, USA Occupation Electric motor research Yesterday at 8:01 PM #5 There are d-sub connectors rated for 10's of amps and 300V: https://www.connectpositronic.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/C005RevC3_HighPerfDsub.pdf There are some very general purpose backshells that might work, but would not be listed: https://www.connectpositronic.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/M016_RevB4_2505_DsubAccessories.pdf The concept is certainly _possible_; 'modular wiring systems' look like they have connectors with backshells that are similar to what you want: https://www.assets.cooperlighting.com/is/content/CLS/CLS/mws/mws-modular-wiring-brochure.pdf Positronic will make custom backshells for you. Just write your specification on the back of a large enough check.
