I think he means 4 wires in the conduit. That is not high, it is probably low, NECA is 44 hours a thousand. 38 hours if you use Simpull, and 33 hours if the wire is aluminum. I would not reduce that by more than 25% for the concept that NECA is always high.I don't know.... Every time I pull large feeders in multiple runs, it's an all day thing. Four guys for 9 hours is close to your number.
but I am 38 for 400 feet so I am a lot higher than NECA for only 400 feet unless I am reading your wrong-I think he means 4 wires in the conduit. When you say 4 runs do you mean 4 wires 1 run or 4 wires 4 runs? Sorry, you answered that question, so yes, it is high especially if you are using decent tugger, and rope. I'd probably use 33 -35 hours a thousand and still beat it. Some things that people rarely think about are, the prep material, like tape, etc. and we don't "rent" the tugger, the rope, etc. so the overage pays for this equipment. With good equipment, you have about 3 guys 2 hours to set up the equipment and make up the head. One to feed, two to take off the reel and one to run the tugger and then about 10 feet per minute for the pull. 3 men 1 hour to tear down. That is 3×6 plus 4×1 or about 22 hours. best case, so again 33-35 hours. works for me.Ya it’s one pull of 4-500 just seemed high—

not enough go with 29 hours for 88 feet.I see what it did it took a total four runs, added the total length together and then multiplied it again by four so I thought I had four runs of 380 feet instead of combined length of 388 feet divided between the four runs so my labor now should be around 12 hours for the single run four conductors total length about 88 feet
What difficulty are you using one two or three?. I used two , guess it could be three for all these pole points I gotnot enough go with 29 hours for 88 feet.
As I stated NECA, and that was NECA 1 starts at 44 hours. I also spelled out what you could likely expect in the field. What difficulty are you using one two or three?. I used two , guess it could be three for all these pole points I got
