Then the customer calls in about 6 months that their new doorbell isn't working anymore, "you must have done something wrong?"
I wouldn't recommend using the battery option. You can purchase additional batteries but they need to be swapped out when one runs low. If a customer is paying for installation just up sell them on adding a transformer and some wiring.
