Does receptacle spacing requirements apply to dorm rooms or is a dorm room fall into guest rooms or "similar occupancy"?

(Speaking now in the other order) A dorm room will not have permanent provisions for cooking (not any that I ever saw, anyway). So it does fall under 210.60. However, that does refer the reader to two sections within 210.52, and that tells us that a dorm room needs most of the same receptacles a house would need.

I would say it is closer to the definition of a guest room. Do you have engineered drawings for this project?

Let me add, there are four sleeping rooms with a permanent bed and desk, these four sleeping rooms are served by a common kitchen, bath, and living area.
