Could someone tell me the difference between a definite purpose motor starter and a regular magnetic starter. The cost of the DPS is about 1/3rd, and from what I can see it provides motor protection with thermal elements like a conventional one would. Does it have something to do with the frequency of starts and stops, maybe not as heavy duty? Thanks.
