drainage grate in front of 480 volt MDP

Ive been searching for issues in regards to a metal floor drainage grate in front of a 600 amp MDP but cant find code issues can anyone give advice on the issue safety, OSHA if any. The grate will be approx. 24 inches wide in the floor, flush and within the 36 inches I need for clearance of panel. In otherwords someone will need to stand on the grate to work on the panel. Is there an issue here. Should it be some type of PVc or other type of non conductive material per code. thanx

No. A concrete floor is considered conductive.

I really didn't think so since Ive worked on gear set on steel platforms but wasn't sure thanx for reply

If they need a grate is it a wet or washdown area?
That may change things, I have had panels on grate mezinenes before with no problems.
