Thanks everyone, does code tell you what intervals the drainages for wireways should be?

With a vertical wireway installation, you only need drains at the bottom.

Appleton, Remke, and others make nice drain fittings.

There are very few drain fittings that work well with a flat surface. Most permit the accumulation of 3/8" or more of water before they drain when used with a flat surface. You need something like this:
