When running a ductbank with say 5-10 conduits and some of them the low voltage contractors and some of them the electrical contractors what issues could/would arise by the GC having two different electrical contractors doing the work in the same duct bank?

I would not expect it to work out very well unless there are some detailed specs on who does what and exactly how the installation is to be made.

I think I would have the EC install all the conduits, then the LV guys can pull their single 4 strand fiber through their 4" conduit.
This is what i typically have seen in the oil and gas industry. For security cameras, gate operators, etc.

Electricians go ahead and do the grunt work stuff.

I suppose it could be different in every scenario though. I worked for a LV contractor for a short period. Sometimes we’d install are own conduits and line voltage for equipment sometimes it would be there waiting for us.

Communication between the contractors is the biggest key to success for the job.
