Marc, just checking to see how the battery life is doing for you. I replaced the Treo with Blackberry Curve. Great phone but the battery life is significantly less than the Treo. I am down to about 50 to 60% power by halfway through the day. Not a lot of web surfing, just a lot of calls. I still am thinking about going to ATT and getting the Iphone this winter when my contract runs out but I figure I'd check on the phones battery.

I have to put it on charge every single night before I go to bed. I use it pretty hard, and I'm down to 20% battery by 10pm each night. You can charge it from any USB port too.

You might have a defective battery. I use my Cruve constantly and have never been able to run the battery dead.

I dont have the curve, but my blackberry has brightness settings and settings for how long the screen stays on, along with volume controls for the ringer. All of those settings can effect how long your battery lasts.

I will check the battery more closely, I tried powering off last night while I charge. Verizon told me if I power directly from the wall instead of through the usb I might get "better" power. I had Samsung I730 for 3 days about a year and a half ago. Cool phone but the battery couldn't make it to lunch time. That was the fat battery too. I like the Curve so far and have gotten used to it pretty quickly. Maybe I will be a Crackberry guy or whatever they're called before I try out the Iphone.

The centro I have will drain fast. Sometimes different applications done shut down so that is what drain it. Once I notice this I do a hard restart (Pull the battery out for 5 or so seconds) then it seems fine.
