PS. Ya forgot to jack up the t-stats on the WH, that's like another 17A.

No dice. I got a gas boiler for hot water and heating.

True story by the way. I had just finished a major remodel on my house, a 1950's ranch, and I did upgrade to 200A. The thing was when I priced a 200A service vs. 150A it was cheeper to go 200A. When the house was done I wanted to know what it pulled.

Now that I know my next research project will be to see if I can pull 200A, or anything close. I'm stockpiling baseboard heaters and old electric motors.

Yes but that is not the existing space-- that is created space which IMO is no different than an addition. If ceilings in the basement are lower than what is compliant as living space then IMO there is no need to calculate the area

Okay, jack up the house and fill in the walls, thereby inserting space in between [former] crawl space and upper house. That'd be adapting the crawl space for future use.
