If a 7 dwelling unit apartment building has:
1 counter-top double burner range, 1800VA (which is greater than 1750VA), 120 volts, in each Unit and
1 Oven 4000VA, 120/240 volts, in each Unit.
What would be the total calculated VA, using 220.55 & 220.61, for these cooking appliances on the neutral conductor?

I am afraid that if I use table 220.55 to calculated the ungrounded load and then apply a demand of 70% for the neutral, I would under
rate my neutral because the ranges are 120 volts. Is 220.55 only for cooking Appliances that are rated 120/240 volts where neutral
conductor load is concerned?

Thanks

The neutral load would be the same as the ungrounded load. You would not need a neutral larger than the ungrounded conductor.

Which one if any would be correct for what I described above?

A). Ranges: 12600 x 0.56 = 7056 VA
Ovens: 2800 x 0.40 = 11200 VA
Ungrounded =(7056 + 11200) = 18256 VA
Neutral = 18256 x 0.70 = 12780
or
B). Ungrounded = 18256 VA
Neutral = 11200 x 0.70 (Ovens) + 7056 (range) = 14896 VA
