I allready know the answer to my question but i am looking for some backup. this is a description of the building.
30,000sqft (or so) under roof horse training facility. centrally located arena with stables running down the left and right hand sides. in the rear of the building are two areas one to the left and one to the right seperated by a huge door to drive a truck through into the arena. each of the respective areas have a kitchen, bathroom, arc fault protected bedroom, and a living room. it's intent is trainers quarters. power for both units are derived from one panel which is under 1 meter for the entire buidling.
this is a dwelling unit......
all applicable nec code pertaining to dwelling units apply here correct?
reason i am asking this question is the journeyman who ran this job decided that inside these units he would tap off of one of the required small appliance circuits to provide power for lighting in bathroom adjacent to the kitchen. clearly a violation of 210.52 (B) 1-3, most notably (2).
