E 26 and E 39 light bulb base question

If I have an LED light that is the larger E39 size base, is it ok to buy an adapter to install it into the smaller E26 base ? The light draws 115 watts. Thank you.

You mean a mogul base down to a medium socket? Maybe a problem with heat dissipation.

Heat wise you are adding dissipation, plus isn't everything ? 660w rated?
