Thanks for all the replies. Luckily i double checked the layout before stubbing up my conduits.
I prefer to start my conduits from an outside wall instead of from a future wall to a pony wall.

Good way , and we stay on that wall as our starting point . Sometimes we have " Bench Marks" , provided by the GC . All trades will start and stay with , from those markings .

The second site the GC took me to the bench mark and pointed out which 2 walls to measure from.
